Do you see what I stream?

Free streams of the big game or the new release are bait for malware and credential theft.

The scam

Unofficial streaming sites and "free premium" apps demand a login, a card to "verify age", or a browser extension to play. The content may even work — while the extension reads everything you type, or the stolen login is tried against your bank.

How to stay safe

  • Stream from official sources

Use the services you pay for, from their own apps. If a stream asks for a card or an install, close it.

  • Use unique logins

Never reuse an email password on a streaming or entertainment site — a breach there should not open anything else.
